The "stress relief" products that people buy are usually useless. In fact, most of them have the opposite effect. They only give you more stress and cause you to avoid doing certain things, like taking exercise, going to the gym, eating a healthy diet, doing stress management strategies, or having a relaxing night's sleep. One of the main reasons people are at the end of the day "stressed out" is because they feel like they cannot get anything done. This results in procrastination and more procrastination, which causes more stress, which in turn results in more stress. We all know that the main reason you procrastinate is because you don't have time to do what you want to do. However, when you are having a stressful day, you can get things done if you have time. It doesn't matter how much time you have. Here's an example: Imagine you have a long meeting today, and your mind is racing with thoughts of what you have to do. You can't get to the meeting because you are worried about your stress levels. However, if you have a little more time you could do a project instead. The key is that you need time to do your work, not a deadline.
